A great piece of nostalgic art! A festive season celebrated for more than a thousand years- in the same way. I strongly feel that the photographer has a keen sense of visualizing the past. Ask why. And the answer is in the picture itself: stamp out the Suzuki Alto, stamp out the vinyl banner titled “Disco”; the triangular glow board of Tata indicom and the videographer at the corner. Then convert the picture into gray scale- Hey its 1958 Kolkata! Mr. Rajesh has most probably walked along with the procession and waited for the it to pass a old heritage building. And most probably, Devi Durga has blessed him with an entrance of a rickshaw-wala.
