Vijay Stambha or the “Tower of Victory”

Description: Vijay Stambha or the “Tower of Victory”, is a remarkable structure located in Chittorgarh fort in Rajasthan. It was constructed by the Mewar King Rana Kumbh between 1442 AD and 1449 AD to mark his victory over the combined armies of Malwa and Gujarat led by Mahmud Khilji .
