Please spread correct awareness. Shivaji Maharaj never had a dog. That is Holkar’s dog with statue at Raigad built on the samadhi of Maharani Putalabai.
Mr.Rajesh Khilari,i would suggest you to YOURSELF go through the internet and surf about the RAIGAD fort,(if ur history is so poor)before commenting something of that sort.

the most precious,the most greatful dog in the eyes of all marathas is the waghya a special personality in the life of chatrpati shivaji maharaj which also means that he was agreat person in the eyes of common people

Hi friends i’ve also read Purandrej Book and i didn’t find anything written about waghya but it also revealed the existance of waghya in wiki and i also rely in waghyas existance but why all are you arguing on that, just look at good things and stop blame games and controversies. Please strive to learn something from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and if you thing waghya wasn’t there then ok but dont fight with each other and if u think he was there then learn something from him. I really dont understand why we all always argue on these issues like waghya , who was Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharajs Guru Ramdas sawmi or Tukaram Maharaj etc.. skip all this yar plz Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj had never thought of different religions and ur thinking of this bullshit issues its really humiliate our history…
